It’s been a rainy weekend so I decided to do something I have procrastinated for some days. Not an easy task I confess, but necessary if I am to start walking to my new beginning.
I don’t have many touchable things to pack from him, but I have my pc full of images, msn logs, writings or emails from or for him that appear in front of my eyes whenever I’m searching for something else. Too aching.
So, what’s first? The pictures. I’ll store them in a cd and erase them from here….then? I guess I can put the rest of the things in the same cd…..it’s important to keep things together, isn’t it?
Now, the touchable objects….. 7 things I won’t ever wear….in a box.
His only love letter? Let me see….not in my purse…where then? Ok, I’ll get an envelope and I’ll put it in the same little box with the other 7 elements.
The chain with the cross….. No, I can’t get rid of it, that would cause more pain than relief….I’ll keep it till the day I….well, I’ll keep it and that’s it.
Next….Oh yes, let me erase his phone number from my cell phone and his email address from my messenger…..done.
I wish I could pack my memories as well….my feelings…my dead dreams….my love, but they are already stored in my heart and there’s no way to let them go, though I wish I could…. I wish I could…. I wish I could.

Hey Analia….great stuff! As dear Icarus would say “Onwards & Upwards”…what a positive start you are making. New beginings, new challenges and in time….new love! I know it is too soon for our “all singing, all dancing Analia” to rise again but I think a little humming and a wee hop, skip and jump are on the cards.

Loving the blue skies and the sign post Analia and that gentle wave..I know its not easy..times when the heart feels the pull back through those memories we wish we could pack away.
You have depth Analia, so your love has depth, not a shallow love..I had a big imaginary scissors that I kept close by so when I felt that pull, I would imagine myself cut the strings that tugged at my heart, AND LOVINGLY SNIPPED THEM. because I loved me too and felt the kiss of a better future.. I’m sorry you are sad…but know that everything that happens to us, does for a reason…so despite the fact that it hurts today…I hope with time your heart mends and the things you learned from this experience will help you with the next. I recently broke up with someone I was seeing for a bit…and even though 5 months isn’t that long…it seemed like a lifetime to me. I also put stuff away that reminded me of him, but the other stuff…it’s a part of me now even though he isn’t anymore. Things will become easier with time. I hope that you are able to quickly get out of the funk.
BTW, I love the new background =)
