PoR UnA CaBeZa

Busy day today, so I won’t be able to post anything other than this. I visited some blogs early in the morning and I must confess I stole this idea from LEYLA G …….
What a beautiful TANGO !!! So here it goes…….

Please, take a moment, close your eyes and enjoy….as my father used to say, “ no matter where you are, who you are or how old you are, tango always waits for you, sooner or later you will love it”

See ya my friends 🙂

We have a Tv programme in England on Saturday nights called Strictly Come Dancing when celebrities who are not dancers learn to dance; waltz, foxtrot, samba etc. I am absolutely “hooked” on the programme and LOVE the Tangos.
    Take care

That programme has been sold everywhere, we see the national versions in Portugal, Spain 6 France. Interesting to compare them culturally. BUT, el Cono Sur reigns when it comes to tango, obviously! It’s latin roots are too deeply entrenched for northerners to dance it with reallpassion & expression. It is (still) too cold for non-latinos to ‘smoulder’ …:-). It’s one of those things that is more than just a dance – it’s an attitude. What a great piece of Piazolla that is, Ani. Where’s my Carlos Guardell suit???
